CIC is now accepting permanent residency applications from temporary foreign workers and graduates with Canadian work experience who have met the eligibility criteria (see below).   This new program recognizes the experience these persons have obtained in Canada and acknowledges the positive impact these applicants have on the economy.

In addition to those who are here in Canada, this program is also available to those foreign workers and graduates who have already left Canada, with one condition: you must apply within one year of leaving Canada.

The criteria for eligibility are as follows:
